Appt was kept right on schedule by the staff that did a great job in the prelims. Dr Teague was thorough in his exam and explanations. Great visit all around!

Customer service is non-existent. Lost a 20+ year customer and they could care less. Called to make an appointment and was disconnected after a 5 minute hold time. Called back and was told I would have to wait 2 months for an appointment. Fine. However, I have no contact lenses and therefore am left effectively without vision. Asked if I could purchase a pair of contacts to hold me over until my appointment but was declined based on their "policies" and that my prescription had expired. I've had the same prescription for five years! Let her know I wouldn't be able to see without contact lenses but this didn't change anything. Let her know I was a 20+ year customer and this didn't change anything. All I wanted was for her to make an effort to escalate and resolve my issue but she did not care. Calmly, I explained based on the service I received, that I would like to cancel my appointment and my relationship with Eye Care Center. She said "Ok, I'll make a note of it". The end. No… apologies or efforts were made to satisfy their customer. Picked up the phone and called another optometrist in the area. The phone was answered immediately and an appointment was made next week. Additionally, I was thanked for the phone call and my business. Thank you Eye Care Center for helping me find a new Optometrist who actually cares about their customer!
