Dr. Vance Jay Bray, MD

There are many comments below that I echo about Dr. Bray and his medical assistant, LaTosha. All communication goes through LaTosha, you are never able to communicate directly with Dr. Bray, and LaTosha misrepresents messages to fit her own narrative. Dr. Bray is quite passive in his approach to patient care, and you are left dealing with LaTosha for your medical care plan. Don't waste your time with this clinic. Instead, I strongly recommend accessing UCHealth Rheumatology clinic at University Hospital. UCHealth is best equipped with a full hospital system to address your auto-immune disorder. The medical care team at DAC is just focused on generating revenue from your appointments. LaTosha is completely uneducated and totally incompetent. Bray places all trust in her, and your medical interests will not be relayed properly to Bray. Good luck!

Lost interest is an understatement! Dr. Bray charged me for RA infusion meds , knowing they would be covered, because I was on social security. The receptionist, after already starting the infusions and paying a lot of money out of my own pocket, told me that 99% of patients get these meds covered by the drug companies. She was sweet enough to give me the paperwork to fill out, which the office manager stalled sending it in. It all started when I prepaid a large sum of money for treatment that I decided not to get.. I had a very very difficult time getting the money returned to me. After this, my treatment was never the same. When I was really sick, I could NEVER get in to see Dr Bray, he didn't seem interested in treating me. He referred me to nurses, PA's, other doctors. After paying him a lot of money that was unnecessary for infusions, he and his book keeper {the one who didn't want to give me my money back} are now dunning me for $326.00. I have given Dr. Bray and his… office chicken serum that he could use on someones else's knee {paid for by my own insurance company}, 3 bottles of Xeljanz $4500.00 each and a dose of actemre, supplied by the drug company. This was probably given to another one of their patients at 4,500.00. Very disappointed in the way I was treated and how they operate.

I have had trouble with rheumatologists at Denver Arthritis Clinic before, though I wasn't expecting to be diagnosed with a condition I already had, who does that? This was a waste of time and effort. All I wanted was help in getting a diagnosis for my comorbid conditions. Fibromyalgia doesn't cause autonomic problems or peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Bray is as useless, as Dr. Rennie Howard (she is essentially the definition of evil), and Dr. Bray doesn't live up to the hype about him. Guess, I was another payment for the day.????

I have been seeing Dr. Bray for my rheumatoid arthritis for at least 17 years. He promised me that I would not be in a wheelchair, and I am still functioning quite well, thanks to him. He takes time to listen to me. He is open to alternative treatment. Most importantly, he always has information and statistics to back up any meds out there. He allows me to give my input. Whenever I have a flare, he always fits me in for an appointment, and I leave with a smile and hope. I can't say enough positive about Dr. Bray and his assistant Tosha.

I think Dr. Bray is a great doctor. He is caring and kind. He will took the time I needed to understand what was going on. I've recommended him to a friend who came back telling me how much she too thought he was really really good.

Changing doctors because he has lost interest in my RA. He and his staff are very difficult to talk to on a personal basis. His assistant gets your problems have right and soes not follow through with your problems. He use to be very caring and now has become quite terse in his bedside manner.

Well if you are interested in a doctor that has his assistant make decisions and follow up calls then this is the doctor for you. Even when you specifically ask to speak to Bray and ask him to call you back, only Tosha will reply. Tosha has no understanding of insurance and talking to her is like playing telephone... she NEVER relays the message correctly on either end. And forget about getting appointments when you ar in urgent need of care. I've had to wait generally 2-3 moths before getting an appointment with Bray. Also the accounting services they provide suck and they always bill my secondary insurance first and then my primary. They do not update their records even after asking several times the same questions.

I'VE been to many drs.. i have had the same problem for twelve+ years and was recommended by another dr to see dr. bray by name. I have had a great expierence and I am on my way to a painless life... Thank You!

Would not speak with me on the phone.I have fibromyalgia and respond well to a lifetime of treatment from a dr. from another area of the country. He treats differently and essentially told me thru his nurse to go to another dr. if I don't like it. Very superior attitude.
