Dr. Vance Michael Elshire, MD

Have not met Dr. Elshire who was out on a medical leave. I will comment on my experience with the office staff. Saw the PA March 14th who scheduled a spinal stimulator to be placed on May 25th and followed their protocol. 3 days before this this procedure, it was cancelled because the vendor ( nevro HFX) never submitted the authorization to Florida Blue ( my insurance company) Called this office and they had not gotten authorization and Florida Blue knew nothing about this request. The case manager verified nothing was submitted. and it should have been resolved - - Therefore I blame this office at Dr Elshire for lack of follow up. I have been in tremendous pain and now has been rescheduled for another month - maybe will be done in June. I am furious! Would never recommend this facility ever.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone! After waiting over an hour to be called from the waiting room, it took only 2 minutes for Dr. Elshire to have me in tears! He is extremely condescending, rude and seemingly doesn't care at all about the patient. I left the exam room crying & cried all the way home & throughout the night. When I calmed down and looked at the paperwork the doctor gave me, I quickly realized he gave me 6 pages of another patients file!! HIPA would not be happy!! This is a very rude & hostile doctor.

Dr elshire is a very ugly person who is doing this for the money. I had procedures and he made it worse. He also never examined me and continues to break medical laws. I guess Simed promotes bad doctors.

It is very sad when you are nervous and afraid because of hearing Dr eleshire yelling at a great woman and getting ready to receive an epidural. He is out of control and Simed needs to deal with him!!! Now!!!!

He is very abusive to women, Eleshire needs anger management!!!! I am praying that God will deal with him and he will stop showing disrespect and anger to his office and patients!!!

Dr Wilshire was patient, attentive and caring....extremely friendly and caring staff.

Hearing all the kind things people are saying about him. I must have caught him on a bad day. Really trusted him after my first consultation. Not sure if he just didn't like me or had a bad day. I hope its the latter. Nurses and staff were fantastic and I got in very quickly.

From the reception desk to each caregiver and tech , their approach is kind , helpful, culminating with the knowledge and effectiveness of the pain control administrated by Dr. Elshire. I recommend his skills to all who need thoughtful pain control by an outstanding professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Elshire for 18 months. Absolutely the best--listens and explains--which is what I need--and then gives help. I have only written two of these reviews in my 63 years, for him and Dr. Balbiss at the same facility. They are both the best!
