Dr. Vance Edmond Mccollom, MD

Was scheduled to have cranial procedure to check on 3 aneurisms, he came in morning of procedure and asked why was I there? I told him the headaches were getting worse and he said he wasn’t a headache doctor, what else, what else, he was rude, unprofessional and made a spectacle of himself. Needless to say he did not do the procedure another doctor did it. The head of the hospital called and apologized, I told him I did not blame the hospital but I WOULD NEVER recommend Dr. McCollom to anyone

Dr. Mccollom repaired two of my aneurysm's. He is the most sincere Dr. you could ever have. I will forever be grateful for him.

My PC recommended Dr Mccollom and I'm glad he did. Repaired an aneurysm for me and I totally trust him.

I was referred tp Dr. McCollum by my oncologist for a biopsy. He and his staff were excellent. He explained the procedure and continually asked if I was OK and if I was in pain. I was very nervous about the procedure, but he was kind, gentle and caring. I have recommended to a friend recently and will recommend to others as I have the opportunity.

He repaired a brain aneurysm on me back in 2009 that was coiled and had 2 stints put in it. I was very lucky to have survived the vein blowing. He has done several follow up procedures to check and make sure I am still doing good. I would recommend him to anyone needing my type of surgery.

I would never refer this doctor to anyone. He doesn't take responsibility for his actions. Doesn't report that there were complications during surgery. Tells you he will help and doesn't. He had me in his office one day and was going to make me better with surgery when surgery went bad. He said oh well can't help you. Sorry about the complications, i can't do anything for you or fix the damage. My mom said this was unacceptable....Watch who you let do your surgery. Research first.
