Dr. Vance Joseph Sanders

Insufferably rude, inattentive, and condescending. He will probably go out of business very soon.

Dr Sanders is so condescending and arrogant. Stay away.

Dr. Vance Sanders behaved like a pouty child while talking about not making as much money as he thought he would in his profession and stately his belief that patients are out to get him. ........... On one occasion, he refused to reveal my blood type because he said there was always the chance that a person might discover the man they think is their biological father, really isn't and then he, Dr. Sanders, might be sued over that. He stated that even though he knew my blood type, if I wanted to know, I should donate blood to the Red Cross. Yes, that actually happened. He was my primary care doctor at the time and I paid for those test results. I wasn't sure if he was paranoid or just cranky and taking it out on his patient............Still, I went back sometime later after an accident because I just had not gotten around to finding a new doctor. On that visit, I not only had several broken bones, but my spirit was broken due to losing people in my life (not in the accident,… but around the same time). I told Dr. Sanders I thought speaking to a counselor might help and, as I had never done so before, I wondered if he could he recommend someone. He said he would not give me a referral because if I was ever job hunting in the future, a prospective employer might find out that I once had an appointment with a therapist and deny me the job for that reason and then I might turn around and sue him. With that ridiculous statement, he abruptly left the room in a huff. I'm a soft spoken person and was feeling pretty weak at that moment in time so I was not arguing with him or doing anything to provoke that kind of inappropriate response. It was bizarre. I never went back. In my opinion, Mr. Sanders falls short as a doctor and as a person.

This doctor was condescending and arrogant. Expressed my fear to take statins as they caused an extremely rare autoimmune disease for my brother - his body is destroying his muscles, his CK levels are extremely high. He is in pain and there are no answers. Sanders showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead he started arguing with me that statins were perfectly fine to take and did not cause my brother's disease! Mayo Clinic and other experts agree, his disease was statin caused. If you're on statins, do have your CK levels checked. I won't be taking statins and do not appreciate the brow-beating this doctor gave me. Next, Sanders told me my blood pressure was too high, needed to take medication. He glared at me and said, "Are you going to give me a hard time about that too?!" Within a day I was traveling out of state, so I picked up the prescription, but didn't start it, not knowing what the side effects might be. A couple of days after returning from my trip, not feeling… well, went to a walk-in clinic. Found out I had the flu AND normal blood pressure! I had not taken any pills yet. Zero confidence in this doctor and wish there was a less than 1 star rating!

My doctor for over 20 years, very knowledgeable, but more important - very wise. Answers questions well. Good staff.

A wonderful and accurate doctor that and my wife have been using for 20 plus years. I highly recommend him and this facility.

I did NOT have a good experience with Dr. Sanders. At the initial visit, he never made eye contact while asking questions and listening to my answers; he just stared at his tablet and entered notes. When I mentioned pain I'd been having in my thumb, he never even touched and/or examined my thumb, just wrote me a prescription for Naproxin! Then he didn't explain what that even was, or the possible side effects. When I needed a different prescription refill, the pharmacy said he had denied the refill, but didn't say why. When I spoke to him, he rudely said they should've known why, and I needed to make an appointment to get the refill because "he was tired of folks not coming in for appointments and just wanting refills". Very rude, disrespectful and dismissive.

Been my PCP for over 20 years. I'm still alive despite many debilitating disease.I will take that.

I have never met a worse doctor!!!! Stay away
