Dr. Vandad Raofi, MD

I will be having my second surgery with Dr Raofi soon. He first removed a tumor in my mesentery and next surgery will be liver resection. He’s a great surgeon, seems to care and gives thorough explanation.

Misinformation and false statements posted after treatment. Did not review chart or records before appointments. Changed statements frequently. Will look for 2nd opinion as he says one thing then does something else. Might be an excellent surgeon and has great staff but is a cold fish and doesn’t pay attention to patient history. Posts inaccurate information.

I think he has someone putting in these, my feeling was bad

not sure why my visit was so different then the other reviews, my insurance.?

I had a big cancer operation with Dr. Raofi last year. He and his team (nurse Connie) did an excellent job coordinating all my appointments and tests before and after my surgery. He saw me every morning after surgery and answered all of my questions. Now I know why my oncologist trust him.

Seemed very upset we had questions

I went into the hospital through emergency with an infected gall bladder. Dr. Raofi was thorough in his explanation of what my surgery might entail. I had an "open" procedure - healed completely. Follow up appointment was great.

Met with my wife and I yesterday. He was very thorough in explaining the differences between Gall Bladder polyps and Liver hemangioma's. He was personable, thoughtful, and educated us on all matters. Our Gastroenterologist things highly of him, and referred us to him, and I can see why.

Great surgeon, took care of my liver tumors, and I'm back to feeling normal!
