Dr. Vandana Duggal, MD

THE MOST INEFFICIENT DOCTOR!! I have been seeing Dr. Duggal for 2 years now and wouldn't recommend her to anybody. She is probably the worst doctor I have ever come across. She seems to be on a money minting spree, charging you even for annual checkups which are supposed to be free. She writes all lies in her visit summary eg patient advised to do this and that or to take a particular medicine but never advises you to do so actually. Also, she never follows up with you on any health condition and takes ages to reply. In my 2 years of seeing her, I have never ever received a follow up call from her. I wouldn't go to her again!!

I have had the unfortunate experience of seeing Dr. Duggal when my PCP had to retire. I was told by the office staff that she was, "ok" that should have been my first sign. When I saw her for my annual physical she rarely if at all made eye contact... Just stared at her computer, typing away. I explained that I had a couple of medical complaints. She ordered a couple of tests and sent me on my way. Two weeks after my test were done she finally had her office flunkies send me a message that said my test were normal. There was no mention of next steps... No follow up or follow through with my concerns. She had also ordered my mammogram. Which I had already received information from the radiologist stating I needed additional images and had called my gyn to order those additional images as well as have those schedule before Dr. Duggal's office moron sent me a note that she had ordered additional images for me. Around the same time I had to have the doctor sign off on my pre op… physical to repair a minor foot issue. At first the office flunky told me I need to come in for a pre op physical. I explained that I had just had my physical 2 weeks before and that seemed silly. She put me on hold and then came back and agreed. I would just need to have my cardiologist send them a copy of my EKG. Done. I do as she asked, call the office 2 weeks later to pick up my paper work and they tell me with a huge attitude, "heh, you have to come in for a preop physical." When I asked why, the office flunky stated, "The doctor has to ask you more questions." "What surgeries you have had." What the heck!!! I tell her that all of that information is in my chart and that we discussed all of this at my complete physical that was just a couple of weeks ago. I am, at this point, very upset because I don't have time. My surgery is less than a week away. You can image how upsetting this could be. In the end, the doctor sent noy my foot surgeon the paperwork stating that I had NOT had a pre op physical. Since I didn't come in and give them another copay and another opportunity to bill my insurance they would not complete Way to do what is right for your patients Dr. Duggal. This pathetic health care at best. Don't go to her if you have any actual health issues.
