Dr. Vaneeta Bamba, MD

So frustrated with how she has no desire to take my son's autoimmune disease into account. Every point I brought up to her she dismissed or told us it wasn't her specialty and to talk to the nutritionist or his GI. It's like she doesn't even want to have him as a patient which is fine with me because I am done with her. I just wished I had read these reviews prior to ever scheduling an appointment with her! Don't waste your time!

Condescending. Poor ability to communicate with parents and kids.

Dr. Bamba was recommended by other doctors. She has the worse bedside manner I have ever seen. She should not be working with children. She does not connect with the patients or the parents. I had to switched to another Doctor and would not recommend her to anyone. She was 40 minutes late for the appointment and was the first appointment in the morning. She should learn how to work with children and how to deliver diagnosis ..

We saw her about a week ago. After going to another specialist I was not expecting too much out of her. She is excellent. We walked out of there in one appointment with more knowledge on my sons condition than we did with six months with a more local endocrinologist. I am so glad we are in her care, I actually appreciate that she is honest and to the point when talking. I'm not seeking a timid doctor, I'm seeking one who will give my son the best care. I'm very pleased with her.

We saw Dr. Bomba last week and we were very happy with her care. We have seen another specialist but he did not explain anything, just sent us for labs. Our family doctor recommended her and I am glad. Dr. Bamba spent a long time with us,explaining in terms we could understand, not just medicalspeak. We had to schedule an appointment really far in advance but overall, we had a good experience and will go back again.

Dr.Bamba is great. She emails us and will even call us at home when there is an issue with our childeren. Yes, both of our children are patients of hers. When our second child was born she wanted the test results the next day in case our child had the same issues as our oldest. This was the case and she started teatment immediately. She is the best!

Lacks intellectual curiosity, asks few questions, makes no personal connection

Dr. Bamba is probably well informed but her bedside manner is one of the worst I've seen. She asked questions to my child in a way that was embarrassing and shaming. She seems to lack basic empathy and understanding and directed questions to my child that should have been directed to me in a private conversation. She also speculated about my child's condition without pulling me aside, causin unnecessary anxiety an concern. I have seen her more than once simply because it's har to get appointments with these specialist. My child's doctor recommended Dr Bamba so I went with her. I've had enough. We will not go back to her.
