Dr. Vanessa Alexy Grano, MD

No words can describe my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Grano. She is professional, nice, trustworthy and efficient. Whenever I have questions and doubts, she responds to me quickly. I feel lucky to have Dr. Grano as my ob. I hope when I have my second baby, she can still be my ob.

Dr. Grano was given to be me by chance because my regular OBGYN had an emergency and I had a procedure scheduled right when she left. I could not be more thankful for the chance I had to be a patient of hers. She was even more thorough then my regular OBGYN I have been with for years. She took time with me to explain everything. She gave me time to ask her questions. She was calming, warm, smart, and thorough. She made me feel comfortable in a not so comfortable procedure. I honestly am thinking of switching to her going forward. I have not been with many Dr. of late that aren't rushing through there appt with me or distracted by their own phones and texts. She was a nice change from what you find today with a lot of Doctors unfortunately.

I love Dr Grano. I have been seeing her for 13 years. She is knowledgeable, up to date, patient, caring, and a great communicator. She listens patiently, and gives you her full attention. Gyn appointments aren’t always fun but she has a great bedside manner and puts you at ease. She has seen mean through fertility issues, pregnancy, and a few not very pleasant issues. She was always honest and forthcoming with valuable advise and compassion. I was lucky enough to have her on call for the delivery of both my children. She was amazing during delivery. I haven’t seen the other doctors in the practice since delivery 9 years ago but I was content with them all. Dr Grano’s office assistant is a doll and very helpful too. I haven’t had any issues with late appointments. There have been very few times in all these years that I’ve had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes.

Dr. Grano is empathetic and knowledgeable. Listens actively and shares information broadly.Really terrific.Biggest issue I have with the practice is today's unconscionable waiting time.After waiting 30 minutes after appointment time, was told that I had to wait 45 minutes longer. At the 1 hour, 15 minute mark I was offered to see another doctor or wait another 45 minutes. That offer should have been made when I arrived-not 75 minutes into the wait time. NO reason was offered for the delay. I could no longer wait and actually had made the appointment to see Dr Grano--not any doctor. Kind of nullifies the whole doctor patient relationship when the chosen doctor cannot be available reasonably on time.I left. No one has the luxury of time these days and better appointment scheduling could alleviate the problem.

Dr. Grano was warm and friendly during my initial visit. She spent quality time asking and answering questions. I felt at ease talking to her. She left messages on my home phone and did not stop until she talked directly to me.I would reccomend my friends to her.
