Uncaring. Abrupt. I cannot call her competent.

Dr. Henke took care of me for a procedure under sedation. I was quite nervous and she talked to me throughout and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend her.

I have chronic pain and several other major medical problems, and Dr. Henke's thoroughness and patience were very reassuring when I asked questions about how my pain would be managed after major surgery. The epidural she placed worked very well. I highly recommend her.

Dr Henke was assigned to my husband's surgery and came in to introduce herself before the procedure. In a quick review of his medical history she learned he had a possible heart situation. So before the procedure, she took it on herself to all his cardiologist's office, determine his diagnosis, and she came back to give me their office number and urge me to call them immediately to make a new appointment. This was beyond what she needed to do, and we deeply appreciate it. Also, the anesthesia (which was local, for an eye procedure) went very well. We are grateful that she was on our case.

I started to panic in the prep area before my surgery when in walked Dr. Henke. Within the first minute i felt assured the anesthesia was not what I dreaded it might be. She explained everything in easy to understand language and in a manner that let me relax . She answered all my questions. She was my angel that day.
