Dr. Vanessa Roxanne Holland, MD

Ugh. It’s been a while we’re I’ve had horrible doctor service. Not only was she late to my appointment, she came in with a chip on her shoulder. Very bland and dry. Not warm or apologetic that she was late. The nurse told me she had not arrived yet. My consultation lasted about 5 minutes all so she can tell me, I’ll refer you to a colleague of mine because I can’t help you. Her overall aura was just negative. So disappointing. I love UCLA and their doctors, but this doctor, no thank you. I could had save my copayment and the drive to Santa Monica.

Came in for less than a 5 minutes talk and left in a hurry

I saw Dr. Holland at the UCLA Medical Plaza in LA many years ago. Went in for a serious autoimmune-like issue with the skin on my face. Dr. Holland was dismissive of my concerns, my own findings, and came across as condescending. She told me to "stop looking at magnifying mirrors" and that "You're getting wrinkles. It's normal." I was 23, was very on top of my sunscreen usage (have been since 14 and still am, esp. for a guy) and had unusual symptoms. Dr. Holland instead had Dr. Goh come in to look at my face and both just left me with no next steps or possible plans of action. Do not go to see this doctor. Definitely gives UCLA a bad rep. Zero bedside manner.

My mother-in-law is 94. She walks with the help of cross-country ski poles, and requires oxygen. After going as fast as she could down the hallway to the Dr.'s office, and arriving 10 minutes late to her apporintment, my wife (who arrived on time for her mother's appointment) was informed by the receptionist that the Dr.refused to remain a few minutes late to see my mother-in-law. In a nutshell, this encompasses everything that's wrong with bad doctors. And arrogant people. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

Been a patient of Dr.Holland's for several years. Always listens carefully, takes the nescessary time and treats me with great professionalism. If I come in worried, she soothes my concerns and has always been correct in her treatment.

Waited to get an appt. As she had been referred, by a UCLA physician, I was expecting a good exam and for her to explain what the problem was. Instead I got a list of "I don't know" and" I don't do that". Thanks for the help, Doc.

She is stupid and should not have a license to practice. I thought UCLA could help me, with an eosinophil count of 5,400, she did nothing and sent me out the door.
