Dr. Manipod takes the time to really listen and explains everything clearly. I've felt genuinely supported throughout my treatment and would recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful care where she takes the time to really get to know you and understand the issues you're going through.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Manipod for nearly a decade, and I can honestly say she’s had a huge impact on my quality of life. What makes her different is that she never makes you feel like you’re just there to get a prescription and leave. They genuinely care about who you are as a person and want to help you reach your fullest potential, not just manage symptoms. Over the years, she’s helped me through difficult periods with so much patience, insight, and honesty. I’ve always felt understood as a whole person, not reduced to a diagnosis or checklist. They challenge me to grow while also making me feel supported, which is a really rare balance to find. It’s hard to put into words how meaningful it is to have a psychiatrist who is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also deeply human and emotionally intuitive. After all these years, I’m very grateful for their guidance and care, and I truly credit them with helping me become a stronger, healthier, and more grounded version of myself.

Confused about the high ratings. Maybe she just hated me but all my appointments were rushed and she snapped at me during them. I don’t know why I had such a poor experience.

I was a patient of Dr. Manipod for 3+ years while she was practicing in Ventura. I seriously considered setting aside days to drive a couple hours each way and also looked at train schedules to see if I could take the Metrolink and then Lyft/Uber to her new office so I could continue working with her. That is how highly I think of her. This is my experience: When I first met with Dr. Manipod, I was extremely fragile. I was on disability for psych issues and incapable of doing most things. Working wasn’t possible and didn’t feel like it would ever be. I had what seemed an unwinnable battle with suicidal thoughts which plagued me since childhood and resulted in multiple failed attempts. I felt trapped in the darkest and scariest parts of my head. Getting through each day alive was an accomplishment. Leaving the house - even just to spend time with friends - was quite often a victory. After some pretty bad experiences with other doctors, it was difficult for me to trust a new one.… Dr. Manipod was different. She was truly invested in my well-being. She fought so hard for me, so I stayed in the fight in part because I didn’t want to let her down. I wanted to be better for myself, but I also wanted her to see the victory for all of her efforts. It took a lot of time and work, but I beat the suicidal thoughts. I definitely still have battles, but that isn’t one. I was even well enough to throw a party celebrating the 5-year anniversary of surviving my most recent (and final) suicide attempt. I am taking positive steps to improve my physical health as well as my mental health. I was even able to take a job for a short time. Baby steps maybe, but it was a massive achievement for me. Dr. Manipod deserves a great deal of the credit for all of my growth and success. Others played their roles, but I could never have made so much progress without her.

I’ve been going to Dr. Manipod due to a insurance change . I have never been to any psychiatrist who listens to you and let’s you know she’s listening to by giving you eye contact and emotional support. The front desk is awesome they treat you like a friend and they really try to work with getting your appointments that work better for you .

Really cares and listens as to what is going on with you; you are not a statistic to her. Very uptodate on medical/psychiatric information. Have been with her for 5 years.
