Dr. Vanitha Prabhakar, MD

She yelled at me, told me that I was depressed, and told me I should go see a psychiatrist after I had gone to get treated for a UTI. She diagnosed the blood in my urine as “menstrual cycle disorder”. I do not think doctors like this should be allowed to practice.

This comment is about many visits. Dr. Prabhakar is the BEST doctor working in the HFHS Taylor facility. Dr. Prabhakar is patient oriented. She is kind, considerate, thorough, and is an expert in the field she has chosen as her career.

She gave me maybe 4 minutes of her time. Refused medication. (Non controlled) had the Aide come in and explain to me the medication I was talking home & wouldn't give me a work note. I have never seen an internal medicine doctor at this office. The pediatric unit is fantastic. I'm 22 and would rather of seen my pediatrician.
