Dr. Varsha Surendranath Taskar, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Taskar for 5 years now. I inhaled a massive amount of fungus into my sinises and lungs and after 8 months and five pulmonologists, she accurarely diagnosed my problems and she has kept me stable since. We drive 4 hours to see her every 3 to 6 months. She spends a lot of time with me at each appointment addressing and answering every issue and question. Dr. Taskar is the best, we love her.

Dr. Taskar is perhaps one of the most caring and dedicated Doctors my wife and I have ever worked with.She is obviously concerned with the health of her patients, spends extra time with us anytime needed, calls us right back even during after-hours needs and at odd times of the night and is very available to schedule for appointments on short notice.In addition she obviously is skilled in her field and always has excellent answers to our questions.Her knowledge of Cystic Fibrosis-related care (our specific need) is excellent and it's also obvious she keeps up with that field.We drive over 50 miles just to see Dr. Taskar as we live outside of Tyler and it is worth every mile. We would not want to go anywhere else for our care.
