My last visit…..was my LAST visit. I left being a patient of her office and sought a decent doctor elsewhere!

I definitely WON’T be going back to see this doctor for sure. This is a physician whom is there to do a job, not to care about her patients. I’ve written about how i felt during my first visit with this doctor in a post Northwell survey and hope that someone addresses it. Our first meeting was a few weeks ago, she came in said hello, introduced herself and went straight to the computer and started writing notes. Didn’t even wash her hands??. She questioned me and I answered her questions. She didn’t seem to care about my concerns regarding medication management, just gave me a list of injectable meds and said contact my insurance to find out what’s covered and we’ll take it from there. She examined my feet and that was about it. I felt disappointed and it showed on my face but again she didn’t seem to care.... she did ask ...”Do I have any questions?” I replied no.....I didn’t even feel to say anything else to her. Today she called me with lab results and again I felt the same way as… she was informing me about lab values as though this call is about documentation??. There is a cold feeling I get when she’s speaking with me. Again, like this is only a job to her. She told me again to call my insurance carrier to find out what meds are covered. It’s almost as if she doesn’t want to do the leg work Involved with checking on and pre-authorizing meds she prescribes. I am a nurse and where I work, ALL the physicians do these things for the patients we serve. This is a lazy and uncaring doctor in my opinion. If I were you, find a specialist whom cares about you and will help you to improve your diabetic health needs. I didn’t need this stress, just wanted help to get my diabetes under control??. Find a better endocrinologist...Not this provider!!!!!!.

Dr Alexiadis was a sweet very down to earth knowledgeable doctor addressing all my concerns. I wasn't rushed and felt she was a very competent doctor. She made me feel quite at ease and I'd highly recommend Dr Alexiadis. Glad I found her. Very nice staff also.

Excellent "bedside manner", and she's beautiful, too!

She was very personable and actually listened to my concerns. Seems to know her stuff. I've been back twice and each time she's very thorough and not in a rush to get to the next patient. Highly recommend Dr. Alexiadis!
