Dr. Vasilios John Pyrgos, MD

My dogs get better treatment by their veterinarian than Vasilios Pyrgos gives to human beings. He was attempting to rid a patient of a chronic urinary track infection. An oral antibiotic treatment prescribed by him was unsuccessful three weeks prior and Vasilios Pyrgo told the patient to stop the treatment at once, since it was proven ineffective. The patient was symptomatic for a urinary track infection with excruating pain. Vasilios Pyrgos told the patient his intentions were to administer intervenous medications which could only be done at a hospital facility. He directed the patient to go to the emergency room so they could be admitted and that way he would be able to proceed with his treatment plan. A urine specimen that was cultured three days prior resulted in a positive urinary track infection. A cultured urinary specimen is the most accurate method available today to determine, if infact, a patient has a urinary track infection. At the hospital, he decided instead to… use a new specimen utilizing inaccurate scientific testing methods to determine his own misdiagnosis. He was so stuborn that he discarded the urine specimen without having it cultured. He was fully aware that the only method that ever showed an infection in the patient was a cultured one. Vasilios Pyrgos in reality had another agenda. An agenda that was not in the best interest of the patient. He totally ignored the health of his patient and their concerns.
