Dr. Vasudeva Rao Desai, MD

Despite the office looking like a free clinic, with little to no technological advances, and a gross bathroom I had high hopes. My first appt. he asked a lot of questions, leading me to believe he was interested in finding a solution to what was going on. He ordered blood work and an ultra sound. I was wrong. On my second appt. I waited 30 minutes in a room, where I could here everyone packing up for the day and ACTUALLY turning off the lights. After he quickly red my labs, he said I was fine, and if there was anything else, as he had his hand on the door knob. He was rushed. I was shocked. I still had my issues, there was no resolution, and he didn't care. When I left, the place was dark- all lights were off and the front door was locked. Good thing I am able bodied and can see well. I was automatically assigned him when I changed insurance; I will be changing my primary.

I have never been treated so badly by a so called Dr. He acts as if you are wasting his time. I pay out of pocket every 30 days for over a year to get refills he prescribed to me which i became dependent on by the way. All of the sudden at my appt he denied to refill my meds leaving me with no pills left and very upset. He also refused to refund my $50 because i was technically seen. I guess getting my height weight and temperature are very expensive these days. I would never suggest this office to anyone..not even my worst enemy.

Dr. Desai is a real intellectual. He listens very carefully, reviews your labs, then gives you his diagnosis. No jokes. No chitchat. No expressions of alarm. No smiles or sympathy. Just the business of medicine. He is great. If I were a doctor, I would like to be like Dr. Desai.
