Dr Chari is caring, knowledgeable and always takes time to answer questions throughly. However, the 12 mile office is way to busy and you feel lost in the shuffle, hard to get appts and long waits. The hall rd office is on top of things and puts the patient first.

Had a breast biopsy was never called with the results had to check with the office and was told by nursing staff the biopsy was positive never spoke with the physician

Dr. Chari-Hedni is such a wonderful, caring doctor. Even though she has an extremely busy practice she always takes time to make sure that she answers any and all questions. Her staff is extraordinary in getting back to you with test results and making you feel welcome. I have not had any other doctor or doctor's staff that have done and continue to do what they do. I would recommend her to anyone!

I recently had an appt @ the SCS office with Dr Chari. I've had other health issues recently, unrelated to a gynecology problem. I have seen a few Dr's that treat you like a number, BUT NOT HER! Dr Chari took the time to listen to me & show concern about my "other" health issues. She was genuinely concerned about my issues & took a very long time listening to me & sympathizing with my "other" issues. I wish all Dr's could show the type of compassion she has shown me & I'm sure many other patients. She is #1 in my book!

I have been going to her for years! She literally saved my life, After my other GYNO had me coming in every 3 months for the same thing Dr Chari found a solution. I actually talk to her about general health stuff because I trust her and then I go to my PCP so they can carry out what I discussed with Dr Chari lol. Good things or people are worth the wait. I have waited for a long time and my appts from arrival to departure is usually about 2 1/2 hours but the reassurance and good service is priceless. She listens and genuinely care. If she ever retire I will cry.

I've been going to see Dr. Chair for about 16yrs. Before that, I bounced around looking for a Ob/Gyn who turned an awkward situation into a little less awkward situation. Dr. Chari was the one, hands down. From the moment I assumed that dreaded position, she didn't miss a beat. Before I knew it, I hear "ok, you can get dressed". Because of her outgoing and warm personality, she turned a seemingsly endless visit into one of education and laughs. Yes, it may be a little bit of a wait (I for one would never want to see a specialist who has an empty waiting room). Just try to be a little patient. (You never know if she's telling someone they have cancer or have lost a baby).. As for length of time spent in the room; yes, she does talk fast and is in and out quickly (in regards to a yearly), but it's not because she does not care, quite the opposit, she knows us women don't want to be there any longer then we have to. It's about being prepared. Write down all your questions before… hand. She will stay with you until they all are answered.

The wait for her is ridiculous. Never had to wait so long for a doctor. If your appointment is @1, don't be surprised if you're put into a room right away but then expected to sit for at least an hour in the room.

Three times I have waited over an hour in the waiting room before even being called in to the examination room. I think this is ridiculous. If there is an emergency then someone should make that announcement to the people waiting.
