Very disinterested in details and condescending. Rushes through her patients. Recommends significant operations/tests instead of fully comprehending the issue and making an informed decision. Might be savvy in her field but struggles to make you feel comfortable and informed about your situation.

has been very accurate in treating and assessing possible problem areas.takes time to explain things clearly.she will listen to your concerns and allow time to answer them.she does like things done to her satisfaction so tests and test scores are accurate.

Dr. Shankar has been a caring wonderful doctor that I have dealt with so far.She has treated some of my complicated heart issues so well. My entire family now goes to her .

Must have new staff in the office. In the past everything was handled quickly and easily. This time, I had to call more than once concerning medication because I had no response (unlike before when I had immediate response). When I call now, I always have to call back for an answer where before it was handled while on the first phone call or after the visit. Hopefully this will change as staff becomes more familiar with office. Perhaps more time in training would have helped before allowing the new person to deal with the public.

She explains my heart issues so clearly that I am able to better take care of myself. She has even helped me with some other complicated problems I have even though they were not heart related. I am fortunate to come across her and thankful to my medical doctor fr ohaving referred me to her.
