Dr. Venkata Jaya Pratap Bireddy, MD

As an attending physician at South Bay Hospital in Sun City, FL, he was unrepsonsive to the Nurses calls to him for medication for me. Many hours went by before he returned their calls leaving me in discomfort and pain. This went on for 3 days. In my opinion he is uncaring, unresponsive and inept and should lose his privileges. I, as well as the director of Nurses at the Hoptital filed a grievance report against him and I am told he will be called up for peer review.

Dr. bireddy is great. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. HIs staff is courteous. Best doctor around south tampa. he is very kind.

Could not answer any of these questions since we haven't seen him. Assigned as the attending hospital dr, gives orders but hasn't looked at our mother to evaluate her after 38 hours!! Who orders a regular diet for a stroke victim that hasn't had a swallow evaluation and can hardly swallow pudding. So if your loved one is 90+yrs old he may not see the value in their life to provide attentive care. We wouldn't know since we haven't seen him!

I needed a fu visit for surgery I had over a year ago. He saw me the next day and ordered labs and confirmed that my abnormal labs were stable.
