Dr.Pante is an exceptional Doctor.Thank you for your outstanding care!

Dr Pante along with a surgeon worked closely together and literally saved his life. He visited my husbands room at least 3 times a day. This Dr gave me his cellphone number and said call if anything does not seem right to you or if I have questions. He is the only Doctor whose exchange company asks you to hold while they call him and patch us through to speak immediately. Now he is a very direct Doctor who calls things as they are. My husband and I love that about him. I’ve read some other reviews and all I can say is sometimes the truth hurts. However as far as being an uncaring man about his patients is absurd. 10 years ago I had a gastric bypass and he was the house doctor that checked in on me. He was never rude or belittling but again explained the surgery was only a tool and I still had to do my part and follow the program I did that lost 280 lbs a s regained my life. My point in telling this is to this day he still monitors my weight and program. I can only speak for my… family however we feel very blessed Dr Pante is in ourlife

He is arrogant and poor communicator. He does not explain things to family. Can’t wait to get out the door.

Dr. V. Pante is incompetent. Uncaring and arrogant. Would never recommend him as a Des Peres hospitalist. If you go to Des Peres hospital, be aware that you might get him as your hospitalist and it would. It be good for you nor your family member.

Had surgery at Des Peres banother Dr. Now getting billed by him and they can't tell me what he did

I was admitted to the ER on NYE for severe dehydration. While my care was excellent, Dr Pante entered my room 15 minutes before I was discharged completely ignorant of my file. He didn't know why I was there or what treatment I had received. At the time, I inquired directly if talking to him would mean paying another bill. No response. My husband and I are both students and were traveling over the holidays, thus out of network. While the hospital graciously worked with our financial situation, Dr. Pante's office was curt and unhelpful. Ultimately, I had no choice to pay a bill for someone who did nothing for me except take advantage of me while I was in the hospital.

Dr. Pante is a very bad doctor. Communication is very poor. Do not go to him.

Dr. Pante is negligent as a hospital it’s at Des Peres hospital. Communication very poor. Does not follow up on patients nor order appropriate tests.
