Rude, inefficient – wait an hour for Colonoscopy. Always wait at least an hour to see him. Called office on Tues. & Wed. finally got a call back only to make an appt. You can’t speak to a nurse. Office doesn’t call you back as promised. When he comes in shuts door stands over you with clip board and says take this and come back if it don’t work. I ONLY go to him cause he’s close but now I’m done he can’t help me. I’ve been in a lot of pain for months.

If I could leave negative stars, -10! Hardly spoke about my issues before he immediately insisted on colonoscopy w/o examination. After procedure I tried to speak with him about my issues, but he would only talk to me while in the hallway. After I receive a letter stating benign polyps, I called and tried to talk to Dr. About issues that they didn't even document and my initial reason for going. Insisted on another visit that would have a charge when I had already paid copious amounts of money. Office staff was incredibly rude and condescending, and laughing about about my health problems. I searched for another doctor in area & had to sign release forms that they didn't fax until new doctor reached out to them, not to mention they expected my 8 yr old to sit in the car in 100° weathee while I filled out documents. Do yourself a favor and seek out another gastroenterologist, motapathy isn't committed to his patients and seems to only care about a paycheck. Worst medical experience… ever.

Dr. Motaparthy and his medical personnel are excellent. But some (not all) of his office staff is rude and disrespectful

Dr. Motaparthy saw me on several occasions. Each time he diagnosed me with stress and irritable bowel. A year later I found out that I had pancreatic cancer. Stress? IBS? License?

Several years ago, Dr. Motaparthy performed an endoscopy on my mom and told her that she didn't have any ulcers. Not long afterwards, my mom spent two - three days in the hospital with tubes down her throat suctioning out the blood from the ulcer that was as big as a man's palm. My mom died in 2010 due to complications from having part of her stomach removed due to ulcer-related problems.

This dr misdiagnosed me and I had to go to the er three times to get fluids b/c I had been passing out and throwing up for six weeks. Dr Motaparthy told me nothing was wrong and sent me home with an antinausea pill I couldn't hold down. I finally had to wait another month to get into a dr in Greenville b/c dr Motaparthy didn't help me.

Better to go out of town for a gastroenterologist. If it doesn't involve a scope (camera in the intestin) he's not interested.Up to date with 1970's medicine. Check his (lack of) board certification.
