Dr. Venu Komakula, MD

I have a complicated sleep disorder and was previously seeing Davon Sevart at the same clinic. Sevart would refer to Komakula for advice, and when a solution to my issues was not found I then started seeing Komakula himself. When I would speak with Komakula explaining my situation he would refer to basic sleep health practices and what I should be doing. I would explain why those were not working and he didn't seem to listen and kept dodging the real issues. I turned in 3 different sleep logs to this clinic and every time was asked to use a different form because they did not like the one used. The first form was one I created that included many details of my sleep, much more than their forms included and they said they wanted one of their forms used (despite the infor being on the form I used, it just wasnt the format they wanted). The other two forms they gave to me and got refused because they wanted the other one. The last time I visited they told me they can't really do… much more without a sleep log which made me laugh and conclude my feelings that they are just giving me enough to keep going there to generate funds for their practice and I'm not likely to get any real resolution from them. I called for a refill on a med that the Dr told me in person to take an extra in the evening of, and when my prescription ran out early because the dose was not changed, the medical assistant told me the Dr did not say to take any extra. This made me feel like they do not hold themselves accountable and are only in it for the money, not to make money while helping people. I feel they want to help the easy cases and string along the harder ones.

He refused to confirm clinic finding of heart murmur, hiding behind procedure and staff. His paperwork is inconsistent with his talk. He is friendly yet strangely robotic, he added little to the knowledge and understanding I already had from reading.
