He immediately recommended a dietitian who specializes in kidney disease diets and who is able to read your lab reports and recommend a diet based on your progression. Dr. is not very proactive in helping to improve my illness. I feel that I was being "warehoused" until he deemed I go on dialysis. The staff at his office are very incompetent and uncaring. The dr. was to have a prescription called into the drug store for me. The prescription was not called in for three days and I had to call thenurse and office several times before they finally called it in. I was given a wrong appointment date on my appointment card and made a trip to the office to be told that I could not be seen that day. When I pointed out the fact that it was their mistake I was told "We`re sorry " and that was all. I have since started seeing a different dr. and feel much better about my situation.
