Dr. Vernon Joseph Forrester, MD

13 minutes ago New I went to Dr. Forrester looking for help with a serious skin condition and left feeling dismissed, judged, and unheard. I brought my biopsy report and a list of previous medications with me so he would have the full picture, but he never bothered to read the report or even make a copy of it. When he walked into the room, he introduced himself but never asked my name or anything about me as a person. Instead, he immediately started insinuating that I was somehow causing my own skin condition and even asked if I was on drugs. It felt accusatory and unprofessional, especially when I came in seeking medical help. I asked about getting a steroid shot, and instead of giving a clear medical explanation, he said I “might have an infection.” As a patient, that response was frustrating — shouldn’t a doctor be able to evaluate and determine that before dismissing treatment options? Dr. Forrester’s bedside manner and people skills were extremely poor. I left feeling judged… rather than cared for. In my opinion, someone working directly with patients should know how to listen, communicate respectfully, and make patients feel comfortable.
