Dr. Vernon Charles Johnson, MD

Attentive, Listens, thorough in asking questions/analysis Excellent bedside manner, takes his time, thoroughly explains test, possible medical plans moving forward. Extremely prompt replies to questions. I have yet to see a psychiatrist like Dr.Johnson in my life. He is an absolute blessing thus far.

Wonderful Dr. especially with kids

Office staff is INCREDIBLY unhelpful. When calling to ask about the lag in my prescription being called in, I was basically threatened and told to stop calling or they would no longer see me. They also told me that i should "pray your prescription gets called in today or i guess you're out of luck" and also told me no when I asked to speak to my physician or leave him a direct message about how poor my level of service has been over the last several months. If I could afford to go see another doctor, I would no longer waste my time going here.

I initially really like this doctor, but discovered he has an abrupt, rude, explosive temper if you try to talk to him about anything he doesn't want to deal with (insurance, med changes), and a very inappropriate and scarey bedside. He should NOT be seeing people with seious mental health issues who are vulnerable to personal criticism and depression. He should NOT be in psychiatry at ALL. Beware sending loved ones unattended to this man. He has serious personal problems.

Dr. Johnson has seen my autistic son for years he is a very caring and kind man.

Secretary was very sweet and polite. Dr. Johnson was very understanding, very kind, gave ideas and suggestions. Didn't put her on any meds. Suggested behavior modification therapy. Overall was very impressed with his professionalism.

The Doctor is very blunt and rude. He has absolutely no manners. He doesn't listen to what you are saying to him at all. His secretary is just as rude and hateful as well. The nurse practitioner was friendly and seemed to listen to you though.

This man should NOT be a psychiatrist. He puts a new patient on some of the strongest medication and allowed that patient to suffer needlessly. He doesn't have time to deal with a patient and he doesn't listen to the patient. All he wants to do is ply the patient with expensive drugs and only do that - not bothering to listen.
