Dr. Vernon H Kratz, MD

It was a long time ago--but I will never forget the skill and goodness of Dr. Kratz

I've been counselling with Dr. Kratz since 1980. He and I have grown old together. He is wonderfully compassionate and insightful. My problems have been managed by medication and therapy directed by him. I trust him implicitly. Perhaps due to compassion or age, he does tend to give me more time than allotted, so others get their appointments later. I also bring something to pass the time, since I value his counsel so highly. The low ratings given by others simply underscore the depth of THEIR problems. He tries his best, but you cannot heal all of the world's problems so simply. I am sure the day will come when I pass to another therapist, but that will be my saddest day. I feel blessed that he has been my doctor and advisor.

This doctor has no interest in getting to know you personally before he labels you for the rest of your life as having a condition you don`t really have. If he knows your parents and goes to the same church as they do that is enough information he needs. The next step is to shoot you up with needles, force you to take pills against your will, lock you up for a month in a hospital room, force religion on you while you are drugged, and if you don`t sign a paper that says you volunteered he won`t let you out.He is the geekest person you will ever meet. His goal is long term patients for him and his staff and to sell and get you hooked on drugs. Good luck funtioning for the rest of your life as a normal human being. That is his goal.He is good at it.That is why he was able to have the job for such a long period of time.That is how he screw`s up every patient he has.Their so screwed up by that point they can`t even think straight.That is how he ruins people`s lives.

I would not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Kratz is a kind, caring, gentle, compassionate psychiatrist. He actually listens. The best that I have ever had. Even though the wait is long it is because he gives you the time that he feels is necessary for you. Just bring something to do, read, listen to music,or puzzles anything that will keep you busy and your mind off your watch.
