Dr. Vernon Michael Neppe, MD

Dr neppe knows his stuff. He even got me to quit smoking 22 years ago.

When I was in high school, it was my dream to graduate some day. It was my expectation that I would someday, possibly, become independent enough to live on my own and get a job as a nighttime janitor. That's what happens with "people like me." I began working with Dr. Neppe in my senior year of high school. After a surprisingly short time (involving a lot of testing rather than educated guesswork!), My extremely complex array of neurological and psychiatric issues was diagnosed and being treated effectively. I realized my dream and graduated from high school. Then, after a year in community college, I was confident enough to go to university. When I graduated, I was able to take a job in my field of interest. I can't hope to express how much this means to me. I was a high school dropout who was expected to fade into the fringes of society and try to get by. Instead, I have friends. I have a real job, in which I interact with. I have a wife and children (never in my wildest dreams… was this possible). I have, above all else, one doctor I can thank for that. Thank you, Dr. Neppe.

I was a deeply depressed and anxious person and with thoughtful evaluation and the correct medication, after years of suffering, I am happy and well!
