This office is terrible. They will say your visit is covered and then recode it to a visit that isn’t covered to make more money off of you. When you call to check into it you are given the run around and told sorry your stuck with the bill. A $5 copay well check turned into a $1500 bill because I answered the doctors questions. Nothing extra was done but they charged 1500 for what was covered and then spoke to my wife as if she was a child. The sad thing is we have been with the lake for 20 years. We will not only never recommend them we will go out of our way to steer people away from them. It’s a very shady practice with nurses and admin staff that could care less about the patients. The doctor seemed very nice and helpful but the people working around him are in the process of ruining his name and office. We will never be back.

I was referred to Dr. Palmisano by my brother when I moved to the Northshore after Hurricane Katrina. I have seen the doctor several times since and am very happy with the care I have received. He is very easygoing, makes me feel comfortable, and he takes the time to listen. I have referred my sister and my niece, and two friends to him, and now they are all patients too!
