Dr. Vernon Michael Rubick, DO

You know, it actually really saddens me to see these other reviews on Dr. Rubick that are based so negatively towards him. Dr. Rubick hasnt just been “some doctor” practicing medicine in our local doctors office, he’s become a pretty consistent factor as our FAMILY doctor. Anytime my mom and dad has gone in there, they’ve never left with complaints. They love being able to catch up with him, and I’m sure they’ve adored getting to know him over the years. My mother barely speaks any English, she is full Korean, and it’s very rare that she doesn’t leave places of business’ where she eventually complains about something, but I’ve never once heard her speak any ill will against him, or his office. In fact, I think they’ve even tried to go all out to the extent of getting her a translator for us quite a few times… As for my father, well- he’s retired AF, and he can get kind of grumpy with the way things are handled in industries like that from time to time, but NEVER have I heard him… complain about Dr. Rubick- except maybe once I think he did mention how it seems like he’s way too busy sometimes than he needs to be, or takes on too much work, so it was hard for him to remember for him to remember some things, but other than I’m pretty more than positive my father has always had the feeling of being welcomed from every staff in that office practically. My father has also had mitral valve prolapse, and he’s had open heart surgery- also has a pacemaker he has to keep up-to-date on, and I’m pretty more than sure he would trust that Doctor w his life by now, lol. Then there’s me. I’ve literally been seeing Dr. Rubick since idk how long now. He’s literally become a part of different stages as I’ve grown up over the years…I think I’ve been going there since I was like 15 or younger perhaps?! Now I’m 33 years old, and not a complaint in site. Dr. Rubick is super awesome, yes he may not spend as much time as needed sometimes, but he means well, and I’m more than confident he’s just trying to give each patient 100% or more fairly upon each other is all. He’s a great doctor, thoroughly very intelligent, and actually knows his stuff seeing as I went to Med school for a few years- just saying! The only complaint I have; however, are the quality of medical assistants he had a tendency to get in there from time to time- which you can’t really blame him for, I guess that’s really all on the office manager at that point, but I’ve definitely offered my own intuitive two cents, and told him he can hire me any time he needs lol. Just saying ?????????? Hope that helps regardless though. ????????

My kids and I have seen Dr. Rubick for over 20 years, he is the best Dr anyone could ever have. He is genuinely caring and concerned for all his patients and their health. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things to you so that you understand them.We are truly blessed to have such an amazing doctor!!

Dr Rubick always listens to my problems and comes up with a treatment plan that works.

Dr. Rubick Had me on more than ten different medications a tone time causing me so much confession that I did not know right from wrong or up from down. The end result of being on all theses medications at once, including sleeping pills and opiate pain pills, was overdosing to the point of dying and having to be resuscitated put on a ventilator and spending ten days in the hospital. It sickens me to think that he is still practicing medicine.

I've been to this office since 2011. They used to be good but when they merged with Memorial hospital in 2013/2014 things went down hill. The MA's don't get back with me, only half my blood work was done, my urine sample was thrown away instead of sent to the lab as it was supposed to. I've called and left messages over and over and all I get is "I don't know". No one seems to know whats going on, no one calls to respond to my questions/follow up. I would never recommend this office to anyone. I'll be searching for a new provider.

Dr. Rubick is a very good doctor. He is kind and patient and actually listens to you! I have been with Dr. Rubick for over 5 years and he is not only my primary care doctor, but also my pain management doctor. He gets me to the specialists I need to see and appointments in a timely manner.

I have been a patient of dr. Rubicam for five years and what a God send. He has the best bed side manner ever. He always welcomes me with a smile and always walks me to the door. He is a dr. Who is concern about his patient. The staff calls me for follow ups and results on the lab. The staff is always ready to help u in any way.

Dr Rubick has been my doctor for 20 years. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend to friends and family all the time.

Have been seeing the doctors here for several years and they are all great!
