Dr Vernon K Sondak, MD

I am a physician myself and Dr. Sondak is one of the best melanoma surgeons in the country, so when I developed melanoma, he was my first choice. He focuses on getting it right in surgery, which is exactly what you need in battling melanoma. Unfortunately, I have had other cancers too, including lymphoma, and Dr. Sondak helped me get to the right doctors. I truly believe he has saved my life and I would recommend him highly.

I made the mistake of meeting with this guy prior to a potential surgery. Fortunately, I found someone else to do it.

My wife was part of a program at the Moffitt Cancer Center for Melanoma issues. She was evaluated by several doctors and ultimately by Dr. Sondak. This was late in the day. After a discussion about a current Melanoma, he asked if my wife would agree to an operation to remove the Melanoma at 6 AM the next day. He made it happen and we are thankful for his personal effort to accomplish it. The operation was successful. We have recommended the Moffitt Cancer Center and Dr. Sondak specifically to many who are in need of this care.

I was in a very bad way inoperable. Dr. Sondak along with Dr. Gibney together got me through a therapy that reduced tumor to an operable size and Dr. did an amazing surgery on me.
