Dr. Veronica Lenore Rutt, DO

My dermatologist referred me to Dr. Veronica Rutt because I had skin cancer and needed to have Mohs surgery. Excellent experience. She performed a small miracle when she removed the cancer from my left cheek. There is no evidence of a scar. Dr. Rutt personally phoned me the following day to see if I was feeling alright. She also gave me her personal phone number in case I needed to contact her. To conclude, if you need Mohs surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Rutt - a highly professional, compassionate surgeon.

I went to Dr. Rutt for my second Mohs procedure on my nose for basal cell skin cancer. The first Mohs was with another physician, with whom I was very satisfied but I chose Dr. Rutt because Mohs procedures are her specialty and she was referred by Dr. Zaladonis. I was very nervous because I felt the basal cell was extensive and might require a skin graft. Dr. Rutt and her staff were very professional, confident and reassuring. The procedure was not a walk in the park because the nose is a very sensitive area, Dr. Rutt and her staff were excellent and I always knew I was in good hands. She had to go in 3 times before I was clear of basal cell and I did not need a graft...I credit Dr. Rutt for that! Dr. Rutt personally called me the next day on Saturday to see how I was doing. It was clear she was always going to be available if I ran into trouble post-procedure. Best news is that 1 month post procedure my nose looks terrific. Like I said before this procedure is sometimes not a walk… in park, but I recommend Dr. Rutt and her team without any reservations. Peter D. (retired RN)
