Dr. Veronica Delaney is an outstanding physician/ Nephrologist who is incredibly kind and extremely attentive. She listens carefully, answers all my questions, and makes me feel at ease throughout my visits. Dr. Delaney goes above and beyond in her practice as seen when she had injured her arm in 2025 . Veronica Delaney MD PhD, a transplant nephrologist at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, is the best doctor whom I have had the pleasure of meeting. Against all odds, Dr. Delaney kept me alive after I received a living donor kidney from my brother. You see, my case was so complex that my brother and I were originally part of an experimental study because we figured we would at least help science if things went south. But COVID killed the study, and my brother and I went through the traditional kidney transplant process. By never veering from her extensive education and training as the pandemic through a dizzying curveball to medical professionals and staff, I am still here. Not only have I survived and thrived within my limits; I have met a doctor whose intellect, charm, and sheer expertise in her field have inspired me to keep challenging myself. Thank you, Dr. Delaney for being the 4-leaf clover, quarterback, and 5-star General who is the reason for my being here.
