Dr. Veronica Dorsch Vezzani, MD

She's the worst doctor I ever went to! She's a pill pusher. She first told me I was pre-diabetic when my A1C was 5.1, then I found on my portal she had me down as diabetic still with 5.1 A1C. She also wrote that I had high blood pressure which I didn't have. She talked me into taking medication which I took. (I have 3rd stage kidney disease type A.) When I had my check up with the kidney doctor and he took my blood pressure he was alarmed and asked if I was dizzy, had fallen recently, did I feel ok. I told him I feel fine and told him my primary (Vezzani) put me on BP meds. He told me to get off of it right away it could worsen my Kidneys! Then she put me on a because she kept saying I was diabetic. I asked her why does she think I am a diabetic and she said every now and again you have a spike in sugar. (Mind you...EVERYONE has a spike once in a while depending on what they eat.) My cholesterol went very low so I took myself off of the med. She had aslo told me, once you are… on a it you can't get off. That's not true. this drug is really bad for you if you can lower your cholesterol yourself. Your body needs cholesterol for your brain to function and it covers all of our nerves. Just don't let your cholesterol go too high. Probably this drug is why so many people have alzheimers. (This is just my opinion on the last statement.

She was thorough, focused on health and wellness, informative and treated me very well. She is professional and direct with her communication which I appreciate!

She had all the compassion of the SS. Treated me like a lesser person, probably because of my state insurance. She was cold, and abrasive doesn't begin to describe how callused this "doctor" was. Focused on 1 issue, that I wasn't even there for, and never got to my health concerns. Talked over me, and write flat out out lies in my chart. Then, when I told her I wouldn't be back to see her, she wrote in my notes that SHE discharged me for not following orders. Take yourself to any other doctor and stay away from this flat out ice queen.

Found this doctor to be very abrasive, rude, and cold. Very bad experience. Never had an experience like this with a doctor before. The receptionist is also extremely rude, condescending and disrespectful. There is a reason why this doctor has bad reviews, I should have read the reviews before becoming a patient 2 years ago. Stay away

This doctor is really rude and not empathetic towards her patient! I saw her in Butler Health Magazine also and I thought she is empathetic and patient-centered because the way she smile in the magazine. But it was different! She’s cold and blunt towards her patient. She is not patient-centered at all! She doesn’t care about you! The only care is her business. If you will search other reviews, you will see how bad she is as a doctor. It seems she does not know what she’s doing. I tell you, I won’t recommend you to go to this physician. She will just experiment you with different medications. Just waste of money and effort to go to her clinic.

This is the worst and most uncaring doctor I have ever been to. I paid hard earned money to see and be belittled by this woman. During one of the most difficult times in my life, Veronica Vezzani was unbelievably cold and uncaring. Her bedside manner is abhorrent. I got a new Butler Health Link magazine issue in the mail and saw she was featured in it as being wonderful. Believe me- if it weren't for the wonderful physician assistant (Rebecca S.) at her Zelienople location- I probably would have reported her to the medical board. If you're reading this Vezzani just know I'll never forget how you treated me that day and it's been 2 years.

This is a review of Vezzani and Vezzani's office staff and nurses. Many of the doctors, nurses, and office staff are the rudest I have ever interacted with in my life. They are very condescending and do not like answering questions or returning phone calls. I would hate to receive truly bad news from this office because I think they have forgotten patients are human beings. Any question or return phone call is treated as an imposition by the nurses and office and patients are made to feel like they are wasting the staff's time. Avoid at all costs. I only continue to go to this office so I can receive my prescriptions.

After getting ready and driving to the office they told me that they wouldn't see him because I took to long. The next appointment to see him 6 days away. The Dr. wouldn't take 5 minutes to help a 2 year old to see if he had pink eye. WORSE experience I have ever encountered going to a Dr's Office.
