Dr. Veronique Marie James, MD

Dr James has seen my 9 year old since birth. We tracked some slow development issues but nothing too prevalent. However, Dr James recommended before the insurance would no longer cover testing for development delay (age 6) we have my daughter tested. We did and we learned she has a neurological issue processing information. She has a learning delay. Good thing this was caught before school started because the school wanted to classify her as intellectually delayed and her subsequent IEP program would have been much less robust. My daughter learns differently than mainstream kids but it does not mean she cannot learn when the material is presented in a manner where she can understand it.

Dr. James is an excellent pediatrician. She is thorough, patient and genuinely cares about the well being of not only baby, but mom too! Even though we only see her every couple of months, she remembers us and asks follow up questions about previous visits. I highly recommend Dr. James!

Dr James is one of the best. Had we not moved to NorCal, she would have been continued to be my daughter's pediatrician until adulthood.

Dr. James has been our pediatrician for 7+ years, and we just love her. She is wonderful at having that "mom" sense. She can read my mind (both in person and over the phone) before I can articulate what is wrong or we need. She is conservative (not doing too many tests etc) but aggessive at getting to the bottom of the problem. She does a wonderful job at anticipating issues / hurdles that could come up and discusses them with you ahead of time. I cannot recommend her enough!
