Dr. Vicente Armando Rodriguez, MD

This man saved my life. There are not enough words to express my feelings about him. If you want a Dr that actually cares, that will sit and listen, who when he says, I’ll never leave your side. Look no further than Dr Rodriguez. I would recommend him seven fold. He’s my hero.

I’ve been a patient with Dr Rodriquez for over a decade. This is one man that actually sits down, talks to and listens to his patients. Dr Rodriquez is not the type of person that rushes you through your appointment and makes sure you feel comfortable to discuss all your concerns. Dr Rodriquez cares , and I have never been made to feel like I’m just another patient ID number, like some Drs have made me feel in the past. I would recommend him to anyone for their pulmonary care.

Dr. Rodriguez is very thorough, gentle, and kind. He is a good listener and willing to explain his diagnoses.

I've had severe asthma and allergies all my life and have seen four pulmonologists before seeing Dr. Rodriquez. Many of the doctors I'd seen kept saying asthma was a 'childhood' disease, but when you have many inhalant allergies, it gets worse as you hit middle age. Dr. Rodriquez carefully questions me, as the patient, as to what I've noticed helping me, or not helping, if I am becoming more allergic, and which medications are alleviating my symptoms. He doesn't 'downplay' my symptoms, yet he has a good sense of humour, what many used to call 'bedside manner'. You can tell he takes his time and really thinks about what may or may not work in the way of medications and also what meds will give side effects. The nurse who is his staff when he comes to a 'satellite cancer center' in our small town is also very nice and 'really on her toes' as far as checking for symptoms before the patients' examination. Most patients who've had severe asthma lifelong have a good feel for 'what works and… what doesn't' and Dr. Rodriquez and his staff work with the patient to provide a better quality of life.
