Doctor Chavin is excellent. She takes the time with her patients so they understand everything about their exam.

Dr Chavin is a wonderful dermatologist and I am very thankful I found her. She treated my 94 year old father with extreme competence, dignity, and kindness today. She immediately made him feel comfortable with her calm and compassionate bedside manner. He saw her for a benign skin condition but she also diagnosed a basal cell carcinoma that no one else had noticed. Although his skin is very fragile, she had such a light and gentle touch that he barely noticed what is usually a painful procedure. I will never use a different dermatologist while Dr Chavin is in practice.

After running all over creation and being advised to take potentially dangerous drugs and go through unbelievable treatments that were obviously for the med students and doctors to learn, I decided to try a dermatologist in my own area. She immediately told me what was going on and within a few days it cleared up. I am so glad that there are still doctors out there that actually think rather than follow a flow chart and are truly ethical. I highly recommend Dr. Chavin

I recently visited Dr Chavin. She was on time and took time initially to visit with me and record my family history before discussing my issues. Once in the exam room she was thorough and dealt with several spots of concern. She treated some and did biopsies on a couple. She explained everything before proceeding and I will definitely go back. Highly recommended. Her staff was very efficient and courteous.

Rude! Unprofessional!

I saw dr. Chavin for many years until she misdiagnosed a basil cell cancer that spread. She was not aggressive and proactive enough. She was not thorough and I will never see her again. Hopefully she's learned from these mistakes.

Great doctor, very smart and professional. Great staff, I recommend Dr. Chavin to everyone I know.

She seemed more interested in keeping to her schedule than in my health. She said she prided herself on keeping to her schedule and seeing each patient at the appointment time. When I asked a question about the painful small bumps on my head she blew me off with an irrelevant answer. I will find another MD.
