Very compassionate, kind and understanding

My mother was exhibiting signs of lung cancer, she did not take the time or effort to run required tests, kept writing it off that she only had a cough and bronchitis or pneumonia despite my mother’s complains and symptoms. Could have caught her cancer early on but due to neglect this doctor basically allowed the cancer to get to stage 4 and spread to other organs.It was after she left that office that another Dr. called my mom to go get other tests. Not a very effective doctor, doesn’t go above and beyond and look into symptoms problem solve etc.

Dr. Mathwig always takes time to listen to concerns, offer options and follows up with every issue. I never feel rushed when in for an appointment and the level of care I receive is exceptional. Her nurse, Melissa, is equally wonderful. I appreciate the time they take to get to know me and help me manage my health. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Mathwig has been a caring physician. She listens to me and my ideas about my health and works as a partner when it comes to my treatment. She and her staff have always been courteous, efficient, and helpful with my needs.
