Dr. Victor Maurice Elner, MD

By far, the worst experience I have had with a doctor. My percription was two weeks late being called in, and three days after my appointment, I came down with a terrible upper respiratory.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I saw this Dr. several years ago and waited literally 3 hours to see him. Once I finally did, he acted as if I should feel honored and privileged to be in his company. Rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. One of the worse experiences I've ever had with a physician, AND, very impressed with himself. I was not impressed with his medical abilities either. I would NEVER go back to this doctor.

I researched before I went to this doctor but not well enough unfortunately! I was there a total of 4 1/2 hours didn’t see him for 3 hours. They did a field test and took pictures of my eyes, but it would’ve been nice if I would’ve seen him first maybe, maybe not! He came in the room asked me why I was there I said because of double vision(I’ve already had two surgeries elsewhere for my graves eye disease) he said “we don’t treat that here” clearly didn’t read his notes on why the other doctor from U of M referred me to him. He was so arrogant acted like I was bothering him and proceeded to tell me I had a surgery three months prior I said no and he wanted to argue because it was typed in the computer. I said I think I’d know if I had a surgery three months ago it was more like two years ago! He only became nice when I started doing deep breathing and was no longer looking at him trying to calm myself down!!! I almost walked out twice. Just a horrible experience.

Had surgery about ten yrs ago. I now have a face that I dont recognize. I used to have high cheekbones, now I have swollen looking eyelids that have transformed my face. Waiting times for this doctor is on average for me an hour to 2 hours and I have walked out twice waiting for him. I drove 45 minutes to see him and just sat and waited to be treated with unprofessionalism . After my surgery he wanted a colleague to see his work. I could tell she wasnt telling the truth about what she saw. But hesitated and never told me the job was a disaster. I now have eyes the arent centered and my vision has become 10 times worse than before I ever saw him. I had graves disease, not bad eyesight. Worst eye surgeon ever. Doesn't care one iota about his patients. Only cares about his income.

I would not recommend Dr. Elner. He is rude and acts putout doing his job. If you have a choice, see a different doctor at Kellogg Eye Center. He sighs, give dirty looks at acts annoyed when I asked questions. This in not a singular incident. I have seen him 3 times and I will not be back. I would rate him 0 stars if it was an option.

He has taken a great deal of time to remove cancer around my eye socket , He is a kind and fine Gentleman . Expert Surgeon

I love the staff at the Kellogg Eye center -- they rock and were great through all 3 of my eye surgeries so far. Everyone is friendly, efficient and careful in how they double and triple check every thing to ensure a smooth process. They are a well oiled machine and special thanks to Dr. Elner, truly awesome.

I was brought back tothe room promptly.I was treated w/Professional, friendly polite & curtious staff at ever part of my exam, test, sign in/sign out part of my lengthly BUT throughout New Patient Exam. I've Graves Disease. I feel the doctor answered all my + my spoue's question's both in medical terms & lay terms we both could clearly understand. I liked Dr V Elnor!

DR ELNOR IS AN ARROGANT --- I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!!!!
