Dr. Lizarraga is a very thorough physician, caring, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. He is on the top of his specialty, and as a patient who is a physician, I would know. Staff very organized, efficient, and friendly. Wait time less than five minutes.

After three years of office visits, I have not been able to see the doctor at the scheduled time. A minimum wait time of an hours has been the norm each time I have visited. So I took it upon myself this time around to have a personal conversation with Dr. Lizarraga as to why he was incapable of respecting my time. His answer was he is doing the best he can. I suggested if he could consider not overbooking patients. His response: he would be happy to introduce me to other doctors. My take away - apparently asking us to fill out these surveys is not an honest improvement initiative. It’s about, tell us we are doing a good job otherwise go find another doctor. I can’t be more candid than that.

Today was my first day meeting Dr. Lizarraga. Before we met, the staff was very friendly and helpful as I checked in. I don’t remember the young lady at the front desk, but she went out her way to welcome me as a new patient. I don’t think I’ve ever had this type of exceptional treatment ever. Once I a checked in, it was less than 5-10 minutes before is was greeted by the nurse of Dr. Lizarraga. She was very professional and made sure I was comfortable before my visit with the doctor. A short time later Dr. Lizarraga arrived consulted with me about my concerns and with a concerned regard for me, explained once he had all me test results, he will work hard to resolve all my concerns. I look forward to working with him and not be treated as another patient with the same cookie cutter solution as everyone else.
