Dr. Victor Ivan Lugo-Miro, MD

It took me about 2 days to be able to set up an appointment for my son. They always disconnected their phones and their excuse is “cause they never stop ringing” a doctors office that disconnects their phones so patients can’t reach them is so unprofessional. Plus the very nice ladies (sarcasm) at the front of the office the ones that disconnect the phones get real sassy with you for no reason.

I have been seeing dr Lugo for many years. I hardly ever have to wait long, his nurses are friendly and Dr Lugo always takes time to listen to me and he has a wonderful personality.

just now My son went there for almost a year, so since he was born and now that we moved to South Carolina I have been trying to get his medical records faxed to his new pediatrics here in SC. He hasn’t had his one year check up or shots and now the weather changing all the kids are getting sick. I have called several times over the last month and had got their fax to fax the release form. They say it take 48-72 hours to be released and yet a month later here I am waiting. Myself, his dad and now the new Doctor is calling and leaving messages to medical records and no responds. Also we call the front desk for appointments and they transfer us to medical records to leave an voicemail which we do every time. My son is yet to get sick but that’s not the point. I’m beyond frustrated at the fact I can’t get in touch with anyone to get his records to have him an appointment to have his shots and check ups. This is irresponsible and laziness on their part. If it wasn’t for the 18 straight… drive I would have gone up there and taken care of this but how do you that? We never had an issue going before taking our son for his appointments but this is beyond ridiculous and aggravating. So as I just called again today as I did yesterday and left another voicemail, if I don’t hear back I will be getting my call logs printed out to show proof and have this handled once and for all.

My husband and I have been going to this group of doctor for years. They did blood work on my husband and never found out he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol, he told them he was not feeling well. Two months later he had a stroke. He no longer goes there. In my case I had a visit with Dr Baker about 2 weeks ago so I thought she would refill my meds for Insomnia. I have called 3 times left messages and no one called me back, so I went this morning @ 8:00 and spoke with Esther she took my name and number and she assured me they would get back with me. I went by CVS and they never called it in. I am so disappointed in the care that they giving us now. Does anyone feel the same as we do?

I HAVE USED DR LUGO FOR 27 YRS NOW AND MY HUSBAND ALSO HAS USED HIM FOR ALMOST THE SAME. WE HAVE FOUND NO FAULT WITH HIS DIAGOSIS AND HAS TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF US. HIS STAFF IS FAIRLY COMPETENT. HE TAKES CARE IN TRAINING NEW STAFF SO THAT ALL GOES WELL. I HAVE NOT BEEN MISDIAGNOSED IN ALL THE TIME I HAVE GONE TO THIS DOCTOR OR HIS STAFF DOCTORS. HE WILL SEND YOU TO A SPECIALIST IF IT IS OUT OF HIS FIELD. HE TALKS TO YOU, SPENDS TIME WITH YOU NOT A WHAT DO YOU WANT AND A RX AND A BYE. I WOULD NOT GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR FOR MY FAMILY I TRUST DR LUGO AND HIS STAFF WITH MY LIFE AND MY HUSBANDS. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.

My first visit with Dr. Lugo-Miro was a great visit.He has the best bedside manners I have had with a Dr in a long time. He took time out to explain in details about my symptoms. I have searched for a good Dr. a long time and I feel I have found him. Also, his staff was very friendly.Glad I found you Dr. Lugo-Miro

Lisa scheduled the incorrect appointent time when my husband needed to see Dr Baker for a follow up after having a stroke. All she could say was it was not her fault. Very poor excuse

Both of my children have been coming to this office since they were born. I have been a patient for 7 and a half years. I have always been extremely satisfied with the doctors and staff.

I have been going to this doctor for one and a half year. I must say they are all very friendly. But I'm not happy every time when my daughter got sick I got a prescription and she reacted always badly. After the first try I decide to give it a second try again the same thing I ended up five times in the hospital because my daughter couldn't handle the medicine. This time it was My lasy time. I think a doctor should be able to prescribe good medicine and it doesn't matter how nice they are I should feel comfortable to go there if my daughter gets sick but unfortunately I can't say that about this doctor.

I have seen Dr. Lugo for 14yrs and very happy with the doctors and staff. All are very nice and take time to listen with each of my appt.
