Sadly, in this day and age, one has about 5-10 minutes to see and talk to a doctor at an appointment. Waiting rooms are filled with patients, doctors are busy, busy, busy, office staff are mostlyrude and unhelpful and you tend to feel just like another body, a number in the healthcare system. If that is what you enjoy at a doctor’s office, you should NOT go to Dr Maciel. You’ll be sorely disappointed. What you’ll get instead is: pleasant, helpful and uber friendly staff (you’ll want to hug them, just like I did), a clean and efficient medical practice, a General Surgeon who will blow your mind away. You’ll leave there wondering what just happened? You won’t believe how patient, helpful, caring and understanding he was. I thought - where has he been all my life? Actually, I felt kinda guilty that he was spending so much time with me (I’m so not used to that from any doctor), so I got up and said: “Doctor, thank you, you may leave the office now”. I left the office first. Unbelievable!
