Dr. Victor O Morell, MD

Dr Morell is a miracle worker. If not for his skill and the excellent staff , who knows if we would be blessed with our 2 yr old toddler (2 open heart surgeries in the first year). Thank you for all you do , the world is infinitely better because of you .

I delivered my daughter in Rochester and she had her 1st open heart surgery there. It did not go as planned she had a complication that made her the surgeons 2nd most complicated case in his surgical history. He felt if she was going to come home she would need a heart transplant. We went to UPMC and met with Dr. Morell and a transplant was not necessary. She was born with 5 defects of the heart and needs 3 separate surgeries. She has already had the first and will have the final surgery next year. Thanks to Dr. Morell we were able to bring our little girl home and she is doing extremely well.

In 2001, my son was a patient of Dr. Morell's in FL. He put our minds at ease with the news our 11 yr old son needed open heart surgery. I believe thru God's hands, Dr. Morell saved our son's life. My son is now 29. I wish Dr. Morell was still his cardiologist. He saved the most precious thing in my life, my child. Thank you!!

Wonderful Doctor/ Surgeon - My son had a couple issues going on with his heart not sure he was going to survive but that's to Doctor Victor Morello and God he is alive and well and doing better everyday - Its been 10 yrs now

My newborn son was diagnosed with a heart defect the day after he was born. I can't answer any of the questions about ease of appointment, bedside manner, etc, as there was no time for that. My son needed immediate, open-heart surgery, and Dr. Victor Morell was our only hope. The surgery went beautifully, and every time my son gets a follow-up echocardiogram, I hear what a beautiful job Dr. Morell did. Because of Dr. Morell, my son is starting middle school next fall and can do all things he loves to do.

My son was 11 and had open hart surgary by Dr Haass. At age 17 my son needed a new asending Aorta. Dr Morell was very understanding to my fears as a mother, Replacing the whole Asending Aorta .I was scared!! Dr Haass knew everything about my sons hart, he passed away and now I had to trust someone elseI was not very trustful and he put me in my place and after I calmed down he explained everything to me were I understood. Travis knew what to expect because of the open hart surgery at age 11, he was now scared at age 17. Dr. morell made him feel as comfortable as possibal. Travis is now 29 years old, married and going to have his first child. Thanks to Dr. Haass and Dr Morral my son is living a normal long life. He does need one more operation to replace his bicusped valve, and he is not looking forward to it, but understands it has to be done. His biggest fear is not the operation its taking that stupied tube out of his throght! He hates it. Sorry for the miss spelled words, im a… person that needs spell check! lol, Thanks again Dr Morral!!!! Both you and Dr Haass are Heros in my book!

Dr. Morell was our daughter's surgeon. I don't even know where to begin! When we found out she needed open heart surgery, we were devastated. After meeting Dr. Morell I knew everything was going to be ok, his constant compassion, reassurance, dedication and research on her specific heart anatomy was phenomenal! We could never have wished for a better physician. Because of him, and God, our daughter is alive today! She had a very rare heart anatomy and several heart defects that he repaired at her age of 2 weeks, and she has been great ever since! He is magnificent and there will always be a part of our heart that feels close to him, and he is very special to us. I thank God everyday for Dr. Morell and his talent for healing hearts! Thank you Dr. Morell!!!

Because of Dr. Morrell, our son lives. Very skilled and a blessing to have in our area hospital.

This is the dr who saved my daughters life he is a true gift from God couldnt ask for a better heart surgeon. He knows what he is doing and very professional. Love this man for all he has done for my daughter and all of our family. I do beleive because he was very experienced is why my daughter is now 11yrs old.
