Dr. Victor Raul Ramos, MD

I've taken my 5 children to Dr. Ramos for 13 years now since my first son was born. He knows my name when he walks into the patient room. He listens to my concerns and solves the problem. He is not the type to just prescribe medicine especially if it's not needed. He will eduacate you on what you can do at home to help your sick children. I'll continue taking my children to him as long as he's working.

I've seen a lot of people are having problems with him. I personally don't know what their situation is with him but he has been my daughters doctor for three years now. He always checks both of my girls with great care and is very easy with them. He never leaves me questioning if my child is ok, he is very good with my youngest who had a heart problem and made sure she was his number one priority the second we arrived.

He pulled off my son's umbilical cord prematurely and without my consent. When I called up there to ask to speak with him sonI could ask why he pulled my son's umbilical cord off and if it was medically necessary the receptionists who is his wife refused saying that he is a physician of 40 years and does not need to be questioned and hung up on me! So I called back and told her if she will not ask that question to set me up an appointment with him and she refused also saying he is busy seeing patients who are actually sick, refused to give me her name and hung up on me again. Now my child is on prescribed antibiotics for his umbilical cord. I saw a different physician in Odessa Texas, showed him pictures and he said it definitely was not ready to come off. And he had to chemically cauterize the cord!!

WORSE DR EVER!!! SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE ESPECIALLY ON CHILDREN

Went for my newborn's first check up after delivery and felt very rushed through the appointment once he actually came in to the room. I wasn't even able to ask the questions I wanted to as he was virtually in and out before I knew it.

I really like Dr. Ramos himself. He was very nice and attentive from the birth of my daughter up until now. That being said everything else is awful! The staff at his office is rude to say the least they will hang up on you roll their eyes and ignore you if they don't like what you have to say. Every appointment we are waiting at least two hours in the waiting room and at least another 30 minutes to see him. I do not want to switch pediatricians but the staff and wait makes it almost unbearable no matter how much I like him.

Terrible, knows nothing, money hungry, ignorant, quack, rude, sorry excuse for a doctor.

Annoying office policy of not being able to schedule 3 kids back to back.
