I have been a patient of Dr. Velasquez for 6 years now, since Dr. Beam retired. He has never been better than a fair doctor in my opinion, not very personable, not very good at follow ups, spends more time on computer than with patient. I needed to have my FMLA papers renewed for my intermittent leave at work and after 2 failed attempts at submitting them he told me he wouldn't try a third time and even though I wanted to see a specialist that he referred me to, that he wouldn't list them as a follow up visit, so my claim got denied.

I did not feel he was listening to me when I gave symptoms. He paid more attention to the computer than conversing with me. Not much eye contact. He left abruptly. I feel I didn't have a chance to ask questions.
