I am writing this to warn others: I spent over $12,000 with Dr. Woodlief for TMJ treatment that started in 2016, and to this day, I am still in constant pain. This experience truly ruined my life. After I declined an $8,000 DNA appliance, I was cycled through "Option A" and "Option B" (a jaw stabilizer and a splint) which did nothing. I eventually felt so desperate and in so much pain that I agreed to the expensive treatment anyway. It was a total failure. Even worse, the neck injections he performed for my headaches landed me in the ER. When I told him, he completely dismissed it and said I never had another patient react that way. Every visit felt like being a "lab rat" for a new scam or device. Please, save your health and your money—go to a board-certified maxillofacial surgeon who actually understands the head, neck, and jaw.

I was misdiagnosed with my TMJ issues and wore a splint for 3 months that made me worse.When he didn’t know what do, he stalled by finally getting a CBCT. Then he sent it to get a report and never contacted me again. Spent almost $2000 and 5 months later worse than before!
