Doc Allen gets down to business

Having read the other reviews, I'm not sure if we are talking about the same doctor, but she is in the "preventative healthcare business". She doesn't just write you a prescription to make a buck and move you down the road. She spends time asking relevant questions and offers multiple treatment options. She's a very good listener. My background is pharmacy so I know of what I speak and I know how other doctors play the game. She's my personal physician for a very good reason and she doesn't see me often... because she doesn't have to. That means she does her job. If you have to keep going back, maybe you have the wrong one, ya think? I plan to see her again soon, just for a check-up. It's all I need. I highly recommend her. Thanks Dr Allen ps: I drive 45min each way to see her and never wait more than 15min.

I work in the medical field and as most medical professionals I am very selective when it comes to my Doctor and especially who I will trust to care for my family. Dr. Allen is by far one of the BEST doctors I have ever met, and trust her to care for myself and my children. I have met many doctors in my 30+ years of working at a teaching hospital and she is one I respect and trust. She was my husbands doctor first. I had my own doctor and hated the thought of changing doctors when my insurance plan changed. I am sooooo glad I did. She has been our family doctor for several years. It is unfortunate that she is retiring. I dont think replacing her will be an easy task.

Dr Allen is always up to date on the latest medical technology and is an excellent doctor. I reccomend her to all my family and friends.

Receptionist is not very friendly.

We are in need of a prescription refill immediately and cannot reach this doctor without a $25.00 charge to leave a voicemail!! We are currently on limited income, looking constantly for work opportunities, and will be charged 25.00 for a voicemail! Are they serious?

Victoria Allen is very rud and un-professional. You are always told there are no appointsment available but you can come in as a walk in. Don't buy that. You wait at least 2 house to be seen and then when you have an appointment she is always late because she says she has to see the walk in's. Her time is precious, but yours is not. I wanted for 3 days for someone from this office to call me back regarding my test results. I was told Dr. Allen needed to see me for a follow up appointment but she could not get me in for 10 days!!! I was in pain and could not wait that long. When I called the office back today I was told by Dr Allen "How dare you to think that I should just stop everything and call you back" Really?? I told her all I asked was for a follow up call and said there are plenty of other doctors around and she said "you should go find one then". Nice lady. Always would hear how aweful and rude the office staff was to patients. I never really had a problem with them though. I… was surprised to hear that Dr. Allen is so cheap she does not even offer her office staff medical insurance??? I'm in pain but glad to be moving on from this quack of a D.O.

I have never had to wait long for my appointment. The staff knows who I am and always greets me by my name. Dr. Allen always catches up with how I have been since the last time that we have seen each other. Than she moves on to the reason of my visit. She certainly gives the air of someone honestly cares about my well being.

There was no sense of time. I had come in for my appointment on time and had to wait for more than a hour. Couple of people were before also had the same problem. some of them were sent to come later that week after waiting for close to an hour.The phone would always go to message if you tried to reach them. The office staff was rude and disconnected the phone as you are speaking.

Beware of this doctor! She is extremely incompetent. She will make you wait forever and when she finally shows up, she will waste your time talking about her personal interests instead of your needs. She has no knowledge of common antibiotics and will refuse to help you even when you inform her of the proper treatment from past experience. She doesn't want to be wrong and holds grudges. She is a very strange doctor indeed. Please, do not let her take your money. She is simply incompetent and is very uncooperative in finding the proper treatment. I am appalled by her lack of true care for her patients. So, beware of this doctor. It would be in your best interest to find another doctor. She is simply out for money and not for treating her patients with care and knowledge. She is the all time worst doctor I have ever seen. There's a reason she is in a tiny little office off the beaten path. Potential patients be warned. Save your money and get help from a true health care professional.
