Dr. Victoria Susan Dawson, MD

Dr Dawson is simply the best doctor I have ever met . She is very caring and is very down to earth listens to her patience, and so easy to talk to . She has helped me and my family through difficult times, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a good family doctor. Her office team is fantastic to deal with very easy to get in to see her when you have an issue. Her nurse Pat is awesome so pleasant and really makes you feel like you mater ! Just can’t say enough about her and her team ! 5 stars no doubt about it! Best doc ever!!!!

Dr. Dawson was friendly but once I identified my physical concerns she was very dismissive. For example, I identified pains in my leg. She touched my foot, declared I had a pulse and there is no problem with my circulation. Also a review of my blood test results with her were "all normal". Previously another doctor (before moving to Ontario) identified an elevation in my glucose levels. I questioned her about the lab results and she insisted all is "normal". She claimed different locations have differing scales of "normal". I subsequently had blood work done that absolutely highlighted higher glucose/insulin resistence, and I have had to make changes in diet and weight in order to prevent the onset of diabetes. As for my leg, the aching is being followed up by my new doctor with testing, as is a discussion about bone density, a dietitian for weight loss, I changed doctors due to a complete lack of confidence in Dr. Dawson.

Saw her when she was doing a locum. Extremely pleasant and efficient. Would be very happy to have her as a family physician.

She was very fake during our visit. I heard her tell one of her fellow doctors that she was better than us. Just because she is a doctor doesn't mean that she is better than an elderly woman. With that attitude she is definitely showing that she is immature.
