Dr. Victoria Rita Nakimbugwe, MD

Dr.Nakimbugwe is by far the worse pediatrician we have ever been to (and we’ve been to a lot over the years) I was only seeing her for a follow up from my daughter having pneumonia and due to her regular ped didn’t have availability to see her. First thing she does is tell my 5 year old to take her shirt off so that she can listen to her heart . My daughter looked noticeably uncomfortable about it so I had asked her if she could just lift her shirt up and sneak the stethoscope underneath (like every other provider, doctor I’ve seen do) and she says no. So I let her take her shirt off but then explained later that she never has to do anything she’s uncomfortable doing. She then starts telling me my daughter did not have pneumonia (after the radiology report said she did - I am also an X-ray tech and knew immediately she had pneumonia. Continued to explain to me that her fever would’ve been higher if it were pneumonia etc etc I was asking for a repeat chest X-ray to confirm it was… gone and then she was explaining the risk of radiation. I eventually stopped her to then tell her I am an X-ray tech and see pneumonia/ X-rays all day. Just the absolute worse experience and provider we have ever seen and for sure will not be going back.
