Dr. Victoria Ramos Oira, MD

We have been with Dr.Oira since 2000 she is and has been there when we needed her she is straight forward and love children! And we love her Thank you Dr. Your the best!

I had been taking my daughters with Dr, Oira since the day they were born for immunizations and checkups mainly. Her staff lost one of my daughter's files twice! On our last visit , Dr. Oira weighed my pre-teen daughter and called her obese. It is common knowledge to most of us the current problem with anorexia and teens and the way us parents should address this delicate issue with our teens before they become anorexic. My 10 year old daughter wanted to eat lettuce ONLY for the rest of the day after we left the Drs.' office. Maybe the term "obese" is common in medical language, but Dr. Oira should have known better on the damage she might have caused to my daughter's self esteem and her future issues with weight. I am left with that challenge after that visit to Dr. Oira's office.

I've Been Going To Dr.Oira Since The Day I Was Born. She is an amazing women she gives great advice, therefore I will not get rid of her. When you walk into her office it's just a great vibe . There's cleanliness ,and excellent staff. The approximent wait time is 10-15 Mins being the max. I do recommend Dr.Oira she's a polite honest women. Not to mention my whole family goes to her now.

I have been taking my kids to Dr oira for over 10 yrs. she great but sometimes her only answer is it's ok she has a Virus. Even if my baby has a high fever 103 to 104 for several days. I tell her I know sometimes wrong and bug her for antibiotics. I waste my time with her and I have pay a $50 copayment to childrens hopsital so they can tell me my baby has a UTI. Im just disappointed in her. I expected more from her, butt everything is a virus to her.

I have been taking my kids to Dr oira for over 7 yrs. she great but sometimes her only answer is "it ok, it's normal" and my kids has had a fever or cough for over a week!!! I have to bug her to get them so antibiotics, and her Receptionists well there's always a new one everytime I go there!! they ALL have such bad additudes it's like she only hires them from a specific place or something!! but other than that she is very caring with the kids!

Dr. Victoria is a great Doctor but her staff lacks courtesy and customer service. My biggest problem has been to get appointments. Her main telephone number doesn't let you leave messages for an appointment and when I do due to my emergency no one returns my call. I constantly need to be calling. One time it took me a whole day and a half to get a hold of someone. Addition to this her staff needs to be more people friendly. The receptionist needs to smile when she greets the patients. The nurse needs to get the children's names right before she call their name. For the first 5 minutes she called my son by another name until I corrected her. I can't complain about the Doctor though her itself is wonderful. I wish she would just change her current ways of setting up appointments and hire friendly staff.That's all!

The Doctor is very experienced and wonderful with her patients. She is great at listening to concerns and offering advice suited to the type of family unit being helped. However, the same cannot be said of her staff. They come off as annoyed when you ask them questions and are not trained to offer any alternatives while a patient waits for their appointment or call-back. They are lacking when it comes to customer service and are not easily approachable ... in fact, it sometimes seems as if they try to disappear into the back area to avoid extra contact with waiting patients!
